People pretend they want to know you,
Understand and love.
Forget the mind and soul where real truth lies,
All they want is you!
A fickle world that we live in.
Lust masquerading as love,
The one way street to despair and destruction.
I’ve lived through lust.
Like a drug it blew my world apart.
Like a gun shot through the heart,
Instant death when I pulled the trigger.
I’ve washed the crime from my hands,
The scar still remains.
