The NGC says "Both industry-specific and systemic global challenges related to the COVID-19 pandemic impacted the performance of the Company and its subsidiaries" in 2020
The State-enterprise also says the $2.1 billion loss the NGC Group sustained last year, "should not impact the organisation to this extent in future years."
However, One Opposition MP says the NGC, in theory, should always be making a profit.
