The establishment of the Institute of International and Asean Studies (IINTAS) at the International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM) marks a significant step in strengthening Malaysia’s leadership within the regional bloc, said Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.
In a speech delivered on his behalf by Higher Education Minister Datuk Seri Dr. Zambry Abd Kadir, the Prime Minister said the institute reflects Malaysia’s commitment to deepening regional cooperation and contributing to Asean’s future.
